Baltika in detail

Results, analysis and the numbers that remain after the final whistle.

Last match
Fakel 2 : 2 Baltika

· RPL · Matchday 8 · Voronezh

Three takeaways

  1. In the 51st minute Baltika were 0:2 down in Voronezh. Golenkov pulled one back in the 74th, Gil equalised in the 95th.
  2. Gil had a hand in both goals, Golenkov needed a single shot, and Murid did the work that never makes the highlights.
  3. A pretty comeback does not cancel the questions: with this performance the point had to be rescued, not earned.
Match analysis: Baltika rescued a point. But why did it need rescuing at all?

Match analysis

Score, three takeaways and a link to the full analysis — for every match we covered.

6 September 2026
Baltika 0 : 1 Lokomotiv

· RPL · Matchday 7 · Rostec Arena, Kaliningrad

Three takeaways

  1. The hosts ran more, pressed better and reached dangerous areas far more often.
  2. Lokomotiv created the better chances: 1.03 xG against Baltika’s 0.66.
  3. Mostovoy scored in the 85th minute, but reducing the match to one episode would be too easy: Baltika won the space and could not use it in front of goal.
Match analysis: Baltika pinned Lokomotiv in their own half. But couldn't find a goal there
16 August 2026
Baltika 1 : 2 Spartak

· RPL · Matchday 4 · Rostec Arena, Kaliningrad

Three takeaways

  1. 26,758 spectators — the second-highest home attendance in Baltika’s RPL history.
  2. The match plan worked: Umyarov and Jedson had the ball rather than Barco in dangerous zones. But both Spartak goals went through Marquinhos.
  3. The preview got everything right except the goalkeeper: Maksimenko was the main reason the score read 1:2 and not something else.
